It's Member of the Month time!
One of our favourite things to do at Parkwood is celebrate YOU, our fabulous members!
This month, the award goes to Tash.
Below is Tash's story in her own words:
"I've been a member at Parkwood for a few years now. I enjoy regular visits to help maintain a healthy, balanced lifestyle. I use the club for gym workouts, the classes (mainly Spin, Circuits/HIIT and BodyBalance) as well as swimming.
All of the staff at the club are extremely friendly and welcoming. I love the community atmosphere in the classes too.
Throughout my pregnancy, I have managed to continue with regular workouts and swimming. I believe that the regular exercise and keeping my body moving, has played a large role in me having a very comfortable pregnancy. I'm now 10 days away from my due date and don't plan on stopping my visits until I have to.
The coaches in all of the classes have given me pregnancy options/adaptations throughout, so that I can still join in with the whole class whilst working out safely.
I'm really going to miss my regular visits once the baby's here initially, but look forward to getting back as soon as it's safe for my body to do so!”
